You complete modules by reading, watching short videos and various other online activities. Then take a test and print your certificate.
I completed the first of the Autism modules and earned 1.2 contact hours. The Georgia Board of Nursing accepts either Contact Hours or CEUs in any combination.

Medscape Nurses Education
They offer a wide variety of free CEs. Some videos, some reading, all of it is online. The only thing to watch for is that they offer CMEs as well as CEs. CMEs are for MDs. This is not really a problem as they are clearly labeled in red. Some lessons are for both. I have used this one in previous years and been happy with it (South Carolina has required CEs for several years).

e-LeaRN paid CEs. This particular link takes you to a free CE on caring for people with vision loss. From what I can see, they only offer a few others that are paid. One important note, this site is approved for New York State, number 11 on the list of approved providers states states that any provider approved by anther state is acceptable.
